What devices can I use to view a webinar?

ClickMeeting web conferencing works with any browser, any platform, anytime. So long as you can browse the Internet on your device, you will be able to watch your webinar.

 Will anything be installed on my device?

No. ClickMeeting is Web-based software requiring no installation.

Apps are available for iPad, iPhone and Android devices, but are not essential to view a webinar.

Is my device at risk from viewing a webinar?

No. All files that are uploaded and shared are scanned by anti-virus software.

Best-practice security measures are in place –

·       controlled access to meetings

·       strong passwords

·       SSL-encrypted website

·       end-to-end 128-bit AES encryption

·       Project Personal Data Protection Certificate

·       automatic time-out for inactivity

Do I need an account to view a webinar?

No. You can invite anyone to join your event as an attendee or presenter. All they need is a link to your meeting.

What hardware and software must I have to view a webinar?

Windows – XP or higher

Mac – OS 10 or higher

Linux – latest version of Chrome

Browser – Internet Explorer 8 or higher (32-bit), Firefox 3 or higher, Chrome latest version, Safari 4 or higher

Adobe Flash 11.3 or higher

What firewalls settings are required?

For optimal use we recommend outbound configurations via TCP ports 1935, 80 and 443.

You will only need to check these if you are using a device or network where firewall ports are manually configured.

 

How do I join an event to view a webinar?

Browser Enter the URL you have received for the webinar in your browser ( or click in the email)

OR

Go to www.clickmeeting.com

Click Join a meeting (top right corner)

Enter the Meeting ID you have received in the confirmation email from CPDforMe

Select Join

Enter your name and email address (You can omit your surname if you wish)

Enter Participant Pin and Password

Select Join

iPad/iPhone Select I’m a Participant

Enter the Meeting ID you have received in the confirmation email from CPDforMe

Select Join

Enter your name and email address (You can omit your surname if you wish)

Enter Participant Pin and Password

Webinars are set in Listen only mode, which prevents attendees from speaking during the presentation.
