For over 30 years Mark has acted for insurers and insureds in a wide variety of indemnity and commercial disputes. Mark has been involved in many of the leading professional indemnity and Australian insurance law cases, most recently in 2016 the decision of the Federal Court of Australia in Pantaenius Australia Pty Ltd v Watkins Syndicate 0457 at Lloyds.


He has practised extensively in financial lines insurance, particularly accountants and Directors & Officers, and a wide variety of coverage disputes across all fields of insurance.


Mark also has had extensive experience in drafting insurance policies and advising on policy interpretations. The depth and length of Mark’s experience enables him to write extensively and present frequently on a wide variety of insurance and liability issues.
