Special Counsel, Lander & Rogers
Monique has practiced soley in the area of Family Law for almost ten years, previously working as an Associate in the Federal Circuit Court.
Monique has a thorough understanding of both complex and straightfoward parenting and property matters, and a particular interest in matters where one (or both) parties reside outside of Australia.
Dedicated to providing straightforward, direct and pragmatic advise to clients, Monique aims to facilitate an early resolution of matters, either by negotiation or mediation, where possible.
Sensitive to the stresses involved in family law disputes, Monique aims to enable clients to get on with their lives as quickly as possible, often engaging appropriate multidisciplinary experts and supports such as clinical psychologists, both to support clients and their children, and to work towards a successful outcome for all clients involved.
In addition to her practice, Monique lectures in Family Law at the University of Notre Dame Australia, meaning she is kept up-to-date with the latest developments in Family Law. Previously a volunteer at the Redfern Legal Centre, Monique is sensitive to issues of family violence when they arise.
