Meet your States CPD requirements
CPD for Me sessions are by leading barristers, lawyers, accountants and advisors. Our sessions are prepared in accordance with the CLE/CPD schemes, and each given State's Law Society at at January 2021 and summarised below*.
CPD Year: 1 April to 31 March the following year
Minimum CPD Units to be completed: 10
Practitioners must include at least one (1) CPD unit every year in each of the following compulsory fields:
- Ethics and Professional Responsibility
- Practice Management and Business Skills
- Professional Skills
- Substantive Law

Practitioners must accrue at least one CPD point in a substantive law competency and one CPD point in each of the three prescribed core competencies. The three core competencies are:
- Professional Ethics and Responsibility
- Practice Management and Business Skills
- Professional Skills in legal practice

*Due to $7k fee and changes with Legal Practice Board of WA, CPD for Me has chosen not to renew its accreditation in 2021
1st April 2015, CPD rules require all WA lawyers to complete a minimum of one CPD point in each of the four mandatory CPD competencies:
- Competency Area 1: Practice Management;
- Competency Area 2: Professional Skills;
- Competency Area 3: Ethics and Professional Responsibility; and
- Competency Area 4: Substantive Law.

You must complete a minimum of 10 appropriate hours of CPD activities each year Activities means learning which
- is structured with identifiable aims and with outcomes relevant to a lawyer’s identified learning needs
- provides an opportunity for interaction and feedback
- is verifiable by documentation
- is not part of a lawyer’s usual day-to-day work
