Patrick Coetsee

Wills & Estate Lawyer, Kenny Spring Solicitors

4.6/5

Patrick has focused primarily on Estate Planning and the administration of deceased Estates. He has helped numerous clients with matters concerning: the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardians; obtaining Probate and Letters of Administration; Testamentary Trusts; and defending contested estates or making a claim against an estate.

Patrick’s practical and compassionate approach in this field of law, combined with his attention to detail, see him held in high regard by clients from across the region. He is also considered to be an excellent communicator, with an ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain English.

At all times, Patrick works with clients to achieve their goals and objectives by tailoring legal solutions to suit their individual needs and circumstances. His litigation background and general experience enable him to assist our clients with complex Estate Planning matters, particularly where family businesses or large farming enterprises are involved, as well as a range of other litigation matters.

In addition to his work in the field of Wills & Estates law, Patrick provides clients with advice and representation on compensation matters, ensuring they are fully aware of their rights, particularly in the face of NSW Government changes to workers compensation and motor accidents laws. He is also involved in some of the firm’s commercial litigation work and retail leasing, utilising his superior negotiation skills in contract disputes, property disputes, debt recovery matters and drafting and advising on retail leases.

Prior to moving to Bathurst Patrick was the Legal & Policy officer at the Australian Lawyers Alliance based in Sydney. He began his legal career at the Crown Solicitors Office working in the Torts/Litigation team.
