About your Speaker: Geovanna Jammo – Evolve Family Lawyers
Geovanna is an Accredited Specialist in family law with 17+ years experience as a solicitor., focusing on family law over the last 15 years and practicing exclusively in family law over the last 13 years. Along the way I have acquired not just family law experience but also commercial, trusts & property legal experience giving me an understanding of complex property, financial & commercial structures .
Geovanna specialises in:
– property settlements (basic, intricate & complex, and high net worth);
– parenting disputes (particularly high conflict, history of abuse/mental health issues and
relocation/international abductions);
– collaborative negotiations;
– divorce; and
– financial agreements (pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and de facto).
She is highly capable and known for her practical, pragmatic, compassionate, and no-nonsense approach to resolving legal issues. Geovanna prides herself on providing honest, sensitive, practical & structured advice.
Her focus is to work with each client to find quick, practical & hopefully amicable solutions to save them the emotional and financial cost of litigation. If litigation becomes necessary, she is a determined litigator, remaining calm & focused on the critical issues. Geovanna aims to achieve the best result possible for each individual whether that be by negotiations, mediation, collaboration or litigation.
Geovanna is trained in collaborative practice, a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council & the Law Society of NSW. She is currently completing Masters in Applied Law (Family Law), and also has a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology), which enables her to provide unique empathetic advice & representation to her clients. Geovanna can easily identify not only the important legal aspects of each client’s matter but also their individual & unique needs to help with strategy and negotiations, and to tailor make a resolution specific to each individual client’s circumstances & help her clients move on from this difficult period of their life with certainty and renewed energy.
