About your speaker:
Bringing a wealth of legal knowledge and over a decade of combined experience to his practice. With qualifications that include a Master of Laws (LLM), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and a Master of Arts in Political Science, Sujan offers a well-rounded and analytical approach to legal problem-solving.
Sujan is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He is also an Advocate admitted in Nepal and a member of the Law Society of New South Wales. Prior to starting his own practice in mid-2024, Sujan used to work for a national legal costing firm where he had the opportunity to hone his skills as a costs lawyer advising clients on a diverse range of issues relating to recovery of costs or minimising costs liability.
In Australia, Sujan has built a strong practice across several key areas of law including legal costing, commercial, and property law. He also advises on immigration and family law matters serving the needs of the growing Nepalese community in Australia. His diverse domestic experience is complemented by extensive international expertise gained in Nepal, where he has advised on complex matters involving corporate and commercial law, banking and finance, insurance, aviation, intellectual property, and construction.
Sujan is known for his strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to delivering tailored legal solutions. His ability to navigate legal systems across multiple jurisdictions makes him uniquely positioned to assist clients with both local and cross-border matters.
