Therese Linton is Australia’s leading expert in legal project management and actively works with Law firms and in-house legals teams to transform their approach to delivering legal outcomes. She is a senior business transformation and organisational change management professional with more than 25 years’ experience in project delivery, this includes specialist skills in strategy development, corporate sustainability, organisational change management, program establishment, program office management, business transformation, and process improvement. Her primary driver is to ensure the achievement of business outcomes by aligning to organisational strategy and integrating change management and program management. She has worked for many of Australia’s leading corporations and law firms.

Since 2013 Therese has worked to promote the adoption of Legal Project Management (LPM) within external firms and in-house legal teams. LPM is an innovative discipline that enables lawyers to better meet client expectations in terms of the transparent and reliable delivery of legal outcomes. This work has expanded under the banners of Legal Innovation and Legal Operations Management to include related disciplines such as Legal Portfolio Management, Legal Process Simplification, Legal Procurement and Pricing, Communications and Client Relationship Management.

Therese has both practical and academic credentials which place her in a unique position within the Legal Innovation arena, including 7 years’ experience as a Lecturer and Unit of Study Coordinator for Sydney University’s prestigious Masters of Project Management and 2 years’ lecturing for the College of Law’s Masters of Applied Law (In-house Practice) in multi-disciplinary project management. She also conducts regular continuing legal education workshops for various Law Societies and internal Learning and Development functions.
